In Korea, it makes sense to own a HDTV. Be it KBS, SBS or MBC, these 3 major Korean broadcasters are all broadcasting their programmes in hi-definition signal. In Singapore, even if it doesn't make sense to get a HDTV now, they are still selling like hotcake. I still don't quite understand why one of such TV is sitting inside my room though there is no HD programme showing. Shall not complain though. The HD era is going to arrive soon. It is just slower in Singapore.
