멀리 가을

Most of my classmates are quite busy with their application for graduate school these days. They have been persuading me to join them in applying. I have given their suggestion quite some thought. If I do apply, I would definitely be doing my research in Korean language or 국어 and that would also mean another 2 years for me in Korea starting this fall. The thought sounds very tempting since I have been enjoying myself here.

It is not the first time that I have been persuaded to take up Masters. Even before I left for Seoul, my former teacher had offered to help me get into a Masters programme. I rejected her offer because I had already made up my mind that I would not further my study after completing my language programme. It is not that I have enough of the language, it is more about what I want out of my life. Despite the decision, my learning won't stop the day I leave Seoul for home.

It's already feeling like early Summer and I am almost on the verge of accomplishing my mission here. I guess its time to prepare to go home. Anyway, I wonder is there a medicine for heartache.
