This place is not Paris. Where is it?
I was bored in Seoul, so I decided to get out of it and went Aiinsworld in Bucheon last Saturday. I got off at Songnae Station (Line 1) and transferred to a shuttle bus but ended losing my way at the Bucheon Stadium. While finding my way back to Aiinsworld, I saw a 장사꾼 (hawker) selling Seogwipo tangerine for 5,000won per box by the roadside. I would be lucky to get half a box of tangerine at 5,000won in Seoul.
Anyway, I finally managed to find my way back to Aiinsworld and bought an entrance ticket for 8,500won. I had about one hour of light before the sun set at about 5:30pm. I thought my time of arrival was quite ideal. I got to see both day and night scenes in one visit.
Aiinsworld is a small theme park nested within a housing estate. The park is divided into 12 villages with 71 exhibits of the world's most famous buildings and structures. The largest village is the U.S. Village with 15 exhibits and the smallest village is the Oceania Village with only one exhibit - which is the Sydney Opera House. In the centre of the park is a man-made lake which was completely frozen on the day of my visit. My favourite exhibit is the Eiffel Tower in the France Village. It is best to look at and photograph at night.
The Eiffel Tower. Not the real McCoy though.
Times Square
The Great Temple of Abu Simbel
The Red Square
St. Peter's Basilica
Belvedere Palace
The Palace of Versailles
Paris Opera House
Himeji Castle
The White House
Parthenon Temple
This arrangement of the photos are great when they meet the dark backdrop of the blog. Nice work.
