When you start seeing small lanterns sprouting out in the streets and temples in Korea, you know that Buddha's birthday is around the corner. I believe such lantern spectacle is unique to Korea.
Bong-eun Temple (봉은사) at Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu
Jo-gye Temple (조계사) at Gyeonji-dong, Jongno-gu
