이걸 먹을 수 있니?

Think that cube-shaped watermelons from Japan are out-of-this-world, wait till you see these heart-shaped Jeju gyuls (tangerines). It was reported that Hyundai flagship department store at Apgujeong is selling them. These gyuls are grown on Jeju island and are said to be sweeter than ordinary gyuls.

Even if they are really that good, I doubt people will buy them for the sole purpose of eating them. Just give me a few more weeks and I shall testify if Jeju gyuls are really that nice. Muahaha... of course, I mean the ordinary gyuls not the heart-shaped gyuls.

  1. oh....oh...this is so cute...Yeah! I am going to Jeju this Xmas...and there is this tangerine orchard that we are going to visit....maybe I still get to see it haha! Any special season for that? :P If I get to try it...I will tell you how it taste.

By the way...I read that you mentioned about carrying back heavy electronics...can you advise what electronics is worth buying in Korea? Hope you and write an article about it. :)

  2. Hi Laine, enjoy your winter trip to Korea. Yes, please tell us about your experience with the Jeju tangerines after that :)

The only electronics I will buy in Korea is the e-dictionary. I need it to study Korean. Those e-dics sold in Singapore are hopeless even if they claim they can translate Korean.

  3. Thanks for all the advise and info that you have shared with us. It is really sad that you are closing the blog :( It is hard to find a blog that shared with us the korean experiences....however there are different stages in life...things we want to do and things we want to stop...I understand that and wish you all the best! :)
