Gyeongpo Beach, stretching over 1.8km, is touted as the largest beach resort in the east coast of the Korean Peninsula. The day when I arrived, the beach was quite deserted except for a group of middle school boys playing beach football and batches of people arriving and leaving in tour buses. The strong wind messed up my hair as I sat by the beach watching the repeated pattern of rising and receding waves.
